KiNGS OF THE BRUSHWOOD THiCKET"  is the acoustic side project of singer-songwriter, Bruce Erik Brauer /  Co-Founder + Guitarist of New York City Rock Band + Atlantic Records Alumni fame - Dog Society.

Kings Of The BT is currently enjoying National terrestrial radio play while receiving thousands of hits on Spotify + Pandora.

Getting back to basics after years of hauling huge Marshall Amps + playing bigger venues during the on the road life experience + touring with bands like Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Stone Temple Pilots + Sheryl Crow in the late 90’s, Bruce wanted to literally unplug + practice his acoustic fingerpicking techniques to create a softer melodic, folkier, poetic approach.

He debuted + released "The Lies You Leave Behind"

May 2015 and was anxious to debut this sophomore 5 song self entitled collection of acoustic stories.

The world if full of broken hearts + millions of stories to tell.

Bruce had a few of his own to share.

He intentionally stripped the approach down to acoustic guitars / one concert bass drum / accordion / organ + assorted vocals to begin recording tracks at his home studio nicknamed "Die Keller" +  at FLUX studios on New York's Lower East Side.
